This program supports research projects with a high potential for commercialization in areas linked to identified strategic industrial needs.

The 2026 call is open to the following two themes:

- DIS 2: Innovations for enhanced health
- DIS 5: Agri-food chains of the future and innovative environmental management

Closing date for submission of declarations of intent: December 2, 2025 at 12 noon

This funding provides grants to research players (100% for universities and colleges, 75% for other research centers), for research projects lasting up to 4 years.

Low-maturity projects: TRL 2 to 5: located on the technological maturity scale downstream of fundamental research and upstream of projects financed within the framework of Walloon competitiveness clusters.

The project must be supported by a (single) company (small enterprise (SE), medium enterprise (ME) or large enterprise (LE)) likely to add value to the research results. The company must be based in Wallonia.
